In our Crèche, Preschool and Primary programs, we strive to stimulate a child’s intellectual development by providing opportunities for exploration and self-discovery as well as teacher-directed activities.
A balance between free choice and structured activities is needed to accommodate the different attention spans, interest levels, and learning styles of our children
We provide services in the following areas:

• The Creche (infants)

The Crèche section of the school accommodates infants from 3months to 18months.

• Early learning

The Nursery section comprises of the Preschool and Nursery classes. There are 2 Preschool classes, Prewriting activities, Coloring, sand and water play, active listening to Quran amongst other. In the Nursery classes, knowledge of the world, writing and reading is intensified in preparation for the challenges of the primary class.

• Primary (5+  -  11+)

Year 6 pupils of the school are presented for the Amis Exam and state Exam, while year 5 and 6 pupils are made to attempt the Nigerian Common Entrance Exams. The pupils of the school have excelled in their various exams with excellent pass marks.

• Children Supplementary Weekend Arabic Class.

About Us

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
F.R.A International School was founded on September, 2013.The school is situated at a very caring environment where children play and learn. We respect children’s dignity and independence and promote the concepts of personal responsibility and co-operation. Each child is expected to demonstrate a considerate attitude both to other children and staff members and to help teachers, whenever possible, in caring for others and the school environment. At present, the school is recognized and approved by the local authorities and other International bodies.

The Qur`an and Sunnah, and then the understanding of the contemporary Islamic Scholars. We ain`t mincing chances to giving the best from the truth of our faith (Al-Islam), for we are True-Believers.

Extracurricular Activities

  "All work and no play” we also agree "Makes Jack a dull boy”.
As much as we work while we need to, we also play-real play; when we need to. That we target our learner’s minds is made-through energizing their psycho-motive domains with defined indoors and outdoors recreational activities, intra-school sports contest, psychometric test-brain tussle, and even inter school contest. We allow everyone ventilate  minds with initiative and ability. What more?! We are sport lovers and happy people.

Curriculum

Our Curriculum

        The educational work at FRA international school is guided by a rich blend of educational philosophies, including Montessori in the Nursery section. On the religious aspects, we adopt the universal Islamic/Arabic curriculum. Our Language ethos is based on the premise of Globalization where every nation needs to trade and interact for synergy. We believe that our pupils are the future catalyst for growth in the Nation wide economy and we recognize the need to make them highly competitive, hence we have chosen prominent languages like English, Arabic, French Language.

We deliver the British and Nigerian Curricula in the Primary section. At the end of their primary education, they are presented for the Primary Checkpoint, an assessment independently set and marked by AMIS International Examination and the Nigerian Common Entrance. Secondary students undergo the Checkpoint and IGCSE along with their Nigerian exams. Students in the School go through the mandatory  Hifz program.

Our enrichment programs include modelling and coding, Diction and decorum, Field trips, Science clubs, Maths clubs, Spelling Bee competitions, Inter-school drama and Quiz competitions, Inter-school debate, etc.
